Personnel Committee

This committee is responsible for managing the Council's duties as an employer and matters relating to volunteering with the council. The Committee meets at least once a year or as required.

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Executive authority in respect of all personnel matters, including:
  1. Senior staff appointments (other than the Town Clerk/RFO)
  2. Training
  3. Terms and conditions of employment
  • Recruitment and management of council volunteers
