Park Gardens Play Area – New Play Equipment

We invited play equipment companies to submit bids for supplying and installing new play equipment in Park Gardens, with a budget of up to £20,000.

Several bids were received and evaluated based on criteria established by our Environment Committee, including sustainability and value for money.

The two highest-scoring proposals came from Greenfields and Outdoor Play, whose designs are displayed below.

We sought public feedback on these designs through a consultation that closed on 2nd December 2024.

The results of the consultation will now be reviewed by the Environment Committee, which will make the final decision.

Following the decision, installation work is scheduled to begin in the new year.
