Rotary 5 Valleys Fireworks

The Rotary Clubs of Stroud, Stonehouse and Nailsworth once again are putting on the largest charity Firework display choreographed to music across the Stroud 5 valleys and beyond. This family friendly event attracts a crowd of around 4000 people every year. There will be John Conley's Funfair, food, drink and free entertainment for the under 12's by the renown Southwest Punch and Judy and balloon bending entertainer John Harvey. All profits go to local charities and good causes across the 5 valleys.
Buy your advance tickets now and get a 20% discount from the gate prices. Advanced tickets Adult £10 Child under 12yrs £5. On the gate prices, Adult £12 and Child under 12yrs £6. There will be a cash desk working but, if possible, we ask people to purchase advance tickets or use a debit/credit card on the night to ease cash handling. There will be fast track gates for advanced ticket sales and debit/credit card payments.

No fireworks, sparklers, alcohol or illegal drugs are allowed on site. Please wear appropriate footwear as some areas can become slippery dependant on weather.

Thursday 14th November 2024 - 'Bisley's Edwardian Photographer, Frederick Major' by Howard Beard
Frederick Major was one of two Edwardian photographers based in Bisley. His patch was mainly the village itself and surrounding parishes, plus Stroud. He was active up until at least the end of World War One. Especially notable was his excellent coverage of the Great Snow of 1916.
