Blue badge holders will be in no doubt as to where and how they can park in Stroud thanks to a new leaflet.
Stroud Town Council has designed and produced the pamphlet which details useful information.
It shows where spaces for disabled drivers are in town car parks, which floors to park on in the Merrywalks and Brunel Mall multi-storey car parks if they want to access the shops, bowling centre and cinema, how to park safely and where they can park for free.
It gives information on common places where badge holders may need to park, including doctors’ surgeries, supermarkets and which of the two carparks to use at the train station for different trains.
Information can also be found on parking restrictions, when drivers should set their blue parking clock and display on the dashboard, and areas where blue badge holders are not allowed to park such as loading bays, bus stops, and taxi ranks.
Copies of the leaflet can be obtained from Stroud Town Council’s offices at Thanet House, 58 London Road, Stroud, GL5 2AD or downloaded from here.
