Thanks to Stroud Town Council and Stroud District Council Play Gloucestershire will hold four full days of outdoor play for youngsters.
The Play Rangers will be at Mason Road on Tuesday March 26 and and Tuesday April 2 and at Archway Gardens on Thursday March 29 and Thursday April 4. All sessions run from 10am-4pm and are free.
From April 16, weekly after school play sessions will be run at Mason Road on Tuesdays from 4pm-6pm.
The weekly sessions at Archway Gardens will run from April 18 and are held on Thursdays from 4pm-6pm.
“The town council, along with Stroud District Council, are funding the Play Gloucestershire scheme because our young people are important,” said Stroud town mayor Amanda Moriarty.
“Outdoor play is so important for children, both for their wellbeing and their health. Play Gloucestershire provides exciting activities which the children really enjoy.”
All activities are outdoors and include den building, fires, arts and crafts, sports and a range of playful games.
